Biography

Robyn’s passion for architecture is concentrated on design for healing environments. A behavioral health subject matter specialist, she has 20 years of experience as a healthcare architect. In addition to her behavioral health experience, Robyn has worked on outpatient and acute care facilities, working closely with clients to maintain design intent while keeping on budget and schedule.

She gravitated toward healthcare because she believes the built environment can be a partner in supporting healing. She focuses on behavioral health because she wants to be a part of destigmatizing facilities, with design that provides an environment of hope, dignity, and support. Robyn is focused on pushing design past the institutional or punitive feel to a therapeutic environment. This challenge drives the work she does.

Robyn is active and serves as a mentor in Women in Healthcare, providing support for career growth.
