Cambridge Childrens' Hospital Project

Biography

I have over 40 years’ nursing experience from Paediatric Oncology, Community Health Visiting and School Nursing, Complex discharge, Safeguarding children, and Operational Manager for CAMHS. In my current role I am one of the Clinical Lead Nurses on the Cambridge Childrens Hospital Project.  This is a vast undertaking for everyone in the project to build a new hospital bringing clinical teams together with architects, health planners, engineers and children and families to ensure we can create a ‘whole new way’ of working together to deliver the best care. I am privileged to be part of this innovative project and continue to learn how design, arts and engineering can have a positive effect for both children, families, and staff.
