Biography

James in a Senior Manager working in HMPPS Headquarters. He is based in the Health and Social Care Team and is the thematic lead for Mental Health for Prison and Probation nationally and has been in this role for the last 3 years. James started in the service just over 16 years ago starting as a frontline practitioner in Offending Behaviour Programmes and has held roles as Treatment Manager and High Intensity Specialist Treatment Manager as well as working as a Governor Grade and Functional Head responsible for Healthcare and Drug strategy, amongst other things. He has worked in a wide range of prisons from busy core locals to life sentence specialist sites.
