Biography

Laura is a Senior Architect at Medical Architecture. She has over six years of experience in healthcare design having designed therapeutic mental health environments for a variety of services, including perinatal care, older adult mental health, eating disorders, psychiatric intensive care, and adult mental health. Laura was Project Architect for the recently completed Kimmeridge Court Eating Disorders Unit for Dorset HealthCare, and she is currently working on a new build mental health inpatient facility in Poole, Dorset for the same client. Last year, Laura presented on the topic of design for eating disorders treatment at the Design in Mental Health Conference.
