New dementia e-Suite range heads Wallgate line up.
This year’s Design in Mental Health (DIMH) conference and exhibition, is the venue for Wallgate to showcase its new dementia e-Suite range. This new range is the latest development in a long line of products designed to aid independence for those living with dementia and reduce reliance on the caregiver.
e-Suite features a range of dementia-friendly taps, WC flushing, shower activation and temperature control devices that was developed in collaboration with healthcare specialists HammondCare and the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre, receiving their highest grades of accreditation.
e-Suite aids independence and helps normalise living by using intelligent water controls within a traditional aesthetic. In addition, the data logging feature delivers care providers with the insight into patient behaviour to directly assist the management of their care.
Robert Kimber, Wallgate's sales director says: “The exhibition provides us with a unique platform to help showcase how we can help solve the challenges that healthcare facilities face. It has always been a very engaging event for us. The product team will again be on hand to talk visitors through what’s new and how we can work together to deliver some incredible solutions.”
In addition to the e-Suite launch, Wallgate will be displaying other innovative products designed for healthcare washrooms, such as anti-ligature WCs and washbasins and another new range including specialist grab rails, shelves and toilet roll holders, plus updates to existing products.
For over 40 years, market leader, Wallgate has been specialising in the design and manufacture of robust, innovative and efficient washrooms and sanitaryware solutions. Together with Wallgate’s intelligent water controls, they help ensure healthcare providers maximise their energy and water efficiencies.
