Medstrom is an independent UK manufacturer of hospital beds and is the second largest provider of ‘Total bed management’ services to the NHS, with over 25% of the UK’s acute care beds and mattresses fleet under its management.

In 2021, Medstrom partnered with clinicians working within the mental health sector to enhance the provision of profiling beds & mattresses to support those with physical and mental health comorbidities. Using the clinicians’ expertise and input, Medstrom was able to design a unique bed range which combined the existing benefits of its Solo+ hospital bed with superior ligature risk reduction and safety.
