Chris qualified as mental health nurse in 2002 and has 20 years experience of working in different mental health services. In his current role he works as a Deputy Director of Programmes for NHS England and NHS Improvement supporting the delivery of the NHS workforce strategy. He is also a Director of operations for the National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care units (NAPICU) which focusses on improving the experience of patients in mental health services both in the UK and globally. He is a published author with an interest in mental health well-being and also passionate about global healthcare and international charitable work which has led to opportunities in contributing to healthcare initiatives in Africa, Europe and most recently in India. Recently he has also started taking up a new interest in the electric bass guitar.
