Trudi Beswick

CEO at national pan-disability children’s charity, Caudwell Children

A successful designer entrepreneur and former Director in the Caudwell Group, Trudi has been the driving force at Caudwell Children since its inception in 2000. Over the past 19 years Trudi has orchestrated the charity’s continued growth, developing it from a small local charity to a national organisation helping over 7,500 children each year and has become an influential voice within the voluntary sector.

Passionate about Caudwell Children’s impact and legacy, it was Trudi’s vision, design management and creative thinking that develop the new Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire and furthered the charity’s work to have both national and international significance.

The construction of the new purpose-built facility and the launch of the charity’s innovative new autism service is the latest milestone in a long term strategy devised by Trudi to reduce assessment waiting times, improve post-diagnosis support for autistic children and to create integrated care services supporting disabled children and their families.
