Biography

Xav joined Murphy Philipps in 2007. He became an Associate in 2012 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2024.
He brings his extensive experience in developing design information and the knowledge gained from the delivery of several large-scale hospital projects.
Since joining Murphy Philipps, Xav has led many high-profile projects in the Primary and Acute Care Sectors. He has delivered major Healthcare schemes such as Hornsey Central Hospital, award-winning Finchley Memorial Hospital, Sudbury Community Health Centre and has led teams delivering major transformation projects at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Luton & Dunstable and Hinchingbrooke.

Xav is the practice sector lead for Mental Health, and he is passionate about learning and creating inspiring environments which benefit service users, staff, carers and family members.

Additionally, he leads the office media team, enhancing communication and showcasing the firm’s achievements.
