Biography

Shaz Hawkins is the Healthcare, Aged Care and Education Segment Marketing Manager for Tarkett UK. She has been working within the built environment since 2010 and has been involved in a number of projects which have required a neurodiverse approach.
Together with VR-EP, Tarkett developed the world’s first filter which allows users to experience first-hand what life is like for those living with dementia. The filter brings the built environment to life allowing for better and more inclusive design. Shaz is now expanding the virtual reality platform to support additional neurotypes including autism and hyper and hypo sensitive individuals.
