Biography

Dr. Zeller is creator of the EmPATH model for psychiatric emergency care and Vice President of Acute Psychiatry for Vituity. Past-President of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry and National Coalition on Psychiatric Emergencies, he serves as professor at two medical schools and co-invented On-Demand Emergency Telepsychiatry. He led Project BETA, revolutionizing agitation care worldwide, and has consulted over 200 hospitals on behavioral health projects. Awards include 2015 USA Doctor of the Year and recognition as one of healthcare design’s most influential people. His EmPATH units provide dedicated crisis stabilization, transforming emergency psychiatric care globally.
