Biography

I am an environmental psychologist integrating research on architecture/built-environment designs with the psychology of its users. My research focus is in housing and healthcare environments (housing, hospitals) where I look at human/user behaviour, control and empowerment (e.g., flexibility and modifications) with implications for long-term sustainability of human health and buildings. I conduct applied and impactful research in the area that advances the development, management, and long-term sustainability of built environment designs that are conducive for human and planetary health and wellbeing.
