Biography

A well-known and highly respected Healthcare Architect and Practice Director with over 20 years’ experience of delivering exemplar award winning, Mental Healthcare projects ranging from complex refurbishments to major new build redevelopments.

Previously head of healthcare for Devereux Architects (1996-2012), Rosemary founded Jenssen Architecture in 2012 to provide independent healthcare design advice.

Through her firm and on behalf of Kier Health, Rosemary leads the ProCure22 Efficiency and Productivity Programme (EPP) Design Working Group on Pre- and Post-Occupancy Evaluations, Government Soft Landings, Clinical Design compliance, Repeatable Rooms and the Design Appraisal Toolkit. With a primary focus on reducing costs whilst improving outcomes, through maximising the benefit from capital Projects in Healthcare.

Rosemary represents the ProCure 22 Framework on the NHSI, ‘New for Old’ Programme and the ‘Future Standards Working Group’. Most recently Rosemary supported the development and publication of the Covid 19 Design Note for NHSE and NHSI.

Rosemary was formerly an Executive committee member for ‘Architects for Health’ (2009-2019).

Rosemary speaks at events nationally and internationally sharing best practice process and project case studies from the ProCure 22 Framework.
