Biography

Michelle qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2011. She joined Cygnet in 2022, becoming Regional Lead OT in 2024. Her diverse experience spans across vocational rehabilitation, SEN schools, acute mental health, and working with autistic inpatients.
Michelle is trained in specialised approaches, including the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability (VdTMoCA). Her Sensory QI Project group was recently published in a NAPICU journal. Michelle is passionate about helping people realise their full potential through engagement in meaningful activities. She loves travelling, ice cream, and alpacas.
