Kevin Gorman is Chairman of Britplas, a leading innovator in secure fenestration solutions for mental health environments. With over two decades of experience, Kevin is responsible for the invention of the Safevent window and has played a key role in its ongoing development, as well as in advancing other pioneering solutions that balance safety, therapeutic value, and sustainability.

His career has been dedicated to improving the design, manufacture, and installation of windows in secure settings, both in the UK and internationally. A founding member of the Design in Mental Health Network, Kevin continues to advocate for evidence-based design and collaborative innovation to enhance outcomes for service users and healthcare professionals alike.
