Biography

Marsha Wittink, MD, MBe, is Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Family Medicine and Academic Chief of the division of Medicine in Psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Wittink is the chair of the national Medical-Psychiatry Unit (MPU) Consortium and she is the director of the Laboratory of Integration Services for Complex Needs (LISCN). Her research efforts are driven by her clinical experiences navigating the often-separate silos of medical and psychiatric care. She has been awarded grants from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to develop strategies to elicit and incorporate patient priorities into care.
