Biography

Dave is an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home Manager with over 25 years’ experience, working across homes catering for Adults with Learning Difficulties and mainstream Residential Children’s Homes. For the last 17 years he has been the Manager of Lincolnshire Secure Unit.  Dave chaired the Secure Accommodation Network (SAN – the organisation that represents all SCHs in England and Wales) between 2015 and 2021.

Working closely with the Department for Education, Dave facilitated a team to look at the current Secure Estate and take the learning from talking to children, managers, and the staff teams to develop a pathfinder Secure Children’s home in Lincolnshire.
