Biography

Clare McFadyen is an Occupational Therapist experienced in working with people with a range of mental health conditions in the community and inpatient settings. For the past decade Clare’s professional practice has focused on working with people experiencing behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia, in Meadow Ward, a specialist assessment and treatment ward for people living with dementia. Clinical experience with this patient group has convinced Clare of the power of meaningful, purposeful everyday activities, and the important role both social and physical environments play in maximising health and wellbeing.
