Biography

Audrey is a Senior lecturer in Occupational therapy and has 20 years NHS experience working with people with learning disabilities, their carers and support services. She is interested in the provision of safe, occupationally engaging environments for people with learning disabilities who have complex health and behavioral needs; in particular, the responses of those with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and sensory processing disorder (SPD). She is collaborating with Sussex partnership NHS foundation Trust to develop research into the ‘Safe Home Environment Assessment’.
