Biography
Alison Moore is a dedicated health and safety professional with extensive experience across mental health, community services, and custodial environments. With a background in psychiatric nursing, she brings a unique, person-centred perspective to risk management and environmental safety. Alison is a passionate advocate for ligature risk reduction, working to promote awareness, prevention strategies, and safer design in high-risk settings. Currently working as Cell and Personal Safety Theme Lead with the Scottish Prison Service, she focuses on creating environments that balance safety, dignity, and wellbeing. Alison is committed to collaboration, innovation, and improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals through thoughtful, evidence-based design.
