Alina Agarkova, Marketing Manager at Yewdale, is a passionate advocate for improving the experiences of autistic individuals within NHS environments. As a late-diagnosed autistic person, Alina spent years seeking help through the NHS, facing sensitivity and communication challenges that delayed correct diagnoses—sometimes by as much as eight years. Drawing from her personal journey, she is dedicated to fostering changes that make NHS facilities, especially mental health settings, more accommodating and less stressful for fellow autistic individuals. Alina aims to share her experiences to inspire positive transformations that enhance the well-being of those navigating mental health services.
