Biography

Aisling Butler and Darcy Gasson are occupational therapists (OTs) who work for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Both have experience of working as occupational therapists on acute mental health wards, and working specifically with adults with learning disabilities and/or an autism diagnosis.
As occupational therapists, they have a particular interest in how people experience their environment, the impact this has on daily activity and are passionate about improving mental health ward environments for all who are cared for, or work within them.
Both Darcy and Aisling are advocates for amplifying the service user experience and voice to improve healthcare delivery.
