Biography

Before studying nursing Adenike had the opportunity of working with women as a support worker, in areas such as gynaecology, obstetrics and paediatrics; which increased her interest and passion with working with women.

 

Adenike graduated from Middlesex University with Advance Diploma in Mental Health Nursing. She has worked with women with enduring mental health illness for over 10 years and her post qualifying experience includes working in a mother and baby unit and female acute wards. She currently works as a ward manager in a Female PICU unit.

 

Improving the quality of services provided to service users has always been one of her overriding goals. Working in the Oxehealth project, Adenike leads on the clinical governance elements.
