In October 2020 the Government announced that more than £400m would be spent over the next four years eradicating dormitory accommodation from mental health facilities across the country in an effort to improve the safety, privacy, and dignity of patients suffering with mental illness. Funding was allocated to 34 projects across all regions of England.

The workshop will feature several Trusts, architects and service providers who will address the following questions:
o What went well?
o What would you change?
o Impact on staff wellbeing
o Impact on service users’ wellbeing
o Has formal Post-occupancy / Post-project evaluation been undertaken?
