Ruairi has been designing healthcare environments for 18 years. This includes projects such as Glenside Campus, a130-bed new mental health facility in Adelaide, and Ferndene, a 40-bed new children and young person’s mental health and learning disabilities inpatient facility in Northumbria. Ruairi is particularly interested in how a patient’s environment can contribute to their wellbeing and recovery, and will explore this theme in his presentation.
