Coming from an NHS background Jenny has over 20 years’ experience in mental health services and design. She is an experienced healthcare planner and technical author. Publications include Health Building notes (HBN) 03-01 – Adult acute mental health units (2013) and 03-02- Child and Adolescent Mental Health services (2017) for the Department of Health and Design Guidance for Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (2017) in association with the National Association of Psychiatric Intensive Care and Low Secure units (NAPICU).
As Chairman of the DiMHN she has worked with colleagues on initiatives to develop the organisation to become a nationally recognised body and to forge associations with other organisations such as NAPICU and the Building Research Establishment (BRE).
