Company Profile

Balco manufactures innovative products for mental health environments, with a simple mission – creating safer spaces while aiding recovery.

We supply NHS Trusts and other mental health service providers with products that reduce and help manage these risks, protecting both service users and staff through their journey during vulnerable times. Balco creates spaces that are less institutional, helping to create more therapeutic, homely and healing environments.

Our products are designed and developed with the NHS, manufactured in-house, working to reduce risks such as ligature, weapons, arson and self-harm.

Our SoftDoor, SoftBox and SoftDispenser were ‘highly commended’ by the judges at the DIMH Awards 2022.
