Exhibitor FAQs

All delegates and visitors will receive a clearly printed badge that will include a barcode which is unique to each individual, which holds their personal information. Badge scanners are available to hire from the event’s registration contractor using the link below. Information on how the lead capture process can aid your enquiry collection can be found below.

Any member of the team will need to register for an Exhibitor Pass. Badges can be collected from the Registration Desk between set times on build-up day or collected throughout the open days.

Any contractors attending for build-up or break down do not need to obtain a badge through the registration process. The traffic marshalling team will provide a pass to gain access to the venue’s loading area at the appointed time dependant on the build type. Anyone arriving by foot through the main entrance will be asked to sign into the building.

Any attendee onsite for the build-up or break-down periods need to complete the Site CDM Induction Form and submitted before 18 April.

A car park is located under Manchester Central Convention Centre, with spaces on a first come first served basis. Height restrictions are in place for the car park, so may be unsuitable for some vehicles. Alternative car parks without height restrictions can be found in the area of the venue. There is a dedicated parking rate for exhibitors attending throughout the event which can be found in the Exhibitor Manual – this rate is available for pre-booking only.

 

It is not possible for Step Exhibitions, NCP, and Manchester Central to take responsibility for any damage caused when parking in the carparks.

Unfortunately we cannot see everything you have ordered with our different event contractors, however each contractor will be more than happy to help with any queries if you are unsure what you have booked in with them.

Due to GDPR regulations, we are unable to offer any attendee data extracted from our registration system. By registering however, any attendee does confirm they are happy to have their personal information linked to their badge worn throughout the event. Exhibitors are recommended to order a badge scanner for the stand where you can collect this information with the permission of the attendee – much like exchanging a business card.

On the lead up to the event, there may be emails sent to a public address offering the opportunity to purchase the attendee list – these do not come from anyone affiliated with Design in Mental Health Network or Step Exhibitions so please do dismiss these emails.

It isn’t too late to add your logo onto your online profile, please contact the organising team to discuss the addition of this at an additional charge. Your logo will appear on your online profile and will be included on the online exhibitor list and can be added at anytime prior to the event. The logo will also be included in the event catalogue if submitted prior to the deadline for the Exhibition Event Guide information – the deadline date can be found in the Exhibitor Manual.

This is provided by event’s contractor, an order form with more information and contact details can be found below:

All Shell Scheme bookings will have carpet included with the stand package and will be provided the event standard colour. Alternative colours are available with the carpeting contractor, therefore any enquiries can be made directly through the contractor.

Any Space Only stands are required to provide their own flooring, but the option to order carpet through the contractor is an option where applicable.

All electrical installations – including “MAINS ONLY” must be installed and tested by the official electrical contractor.

Shell Scheme bookings are provided with electrical outlets and spotlights within the stand package. Any additional requirements must be discussed directly with the contractor.

Space Only bookings do not include power sockets or spotlights as standard. Any electrical requirements need to be discussed directly with the contractor.
